U.S. scientists have identified a new visual circuit that causes the migraine worse light than one person. Discovered that light causes a reaction in a group of neurons that are activated during a migraine attack, the researchers report in the journal Nature . Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC by its initials in English) studied two groups of blind individuals who suffered migraines. Migraines are throbbing pain usually affecting one side of the head and are associated with various symptoms, including nausea, vomiting and fatigue.It is believed that the disorder affects millions of people around the world.
